  13.  SLE> Greetings, fellow ShapeShifter users. I found a really neat trick in
  14.  SLE> using Mac disks with the SS emulation without using up on of the only 2
  15.  SLE> DiskDevices available in the config. Some of you may already know about
  16.  SLE> this. I hope it at least helps someone out there. :^)

  18.  SLE>  The SyQuest EZ135 cartidges come already in Mac format. They also have
  19.  SLE> some Mac utilities & demos on them. If you put the cartidge in the EZ135
  20.  SLE>  unmodified (don't do anything with it in HDToolBox), when
  21.  SLE> ShapeShifter.MacOS boots up, this cartidge will automatically mount as
  22.  SLE> long as you put a check by the correct SCSI Unit number that matches
  23.  SLE> what  your EZ135 is set to. For example; mine is set to unit 4. When SS
  24.  SLE> starts  with the config window, select the SCSI settings. In this
  25.  SLE> window, check  the box next to you SCSI unit (4 in my case). This will
  26.  SLE> tell SS to scan  SCSI ID 4 for a disk. It will find the Mac disk and the
  27.  SLE> SilverLining Lite
  28.  SLE> (TM) software on it will mount the cartidge. Once it is booted up you
  29.  SLE> can  run the Install program on the cartidge to install the SilverLining
  30.  SLE> Lite  Control Panel into you Mac System folder. Or you could do this
  31.  SLE> manually.

  33.  SLE>  Doing it this way instead of setting the SyQuest up with HDToolBox (or
  34.  SLE> equivalent) as something like; SQ0:, then specifying SQ0: as DiskDevice
  35.  SLE> #2 will leave your 2nd DiskDevice free to be used for CDROM or whatever
  36.  SLE> simultaneously.

  48. I just got my EZdrive, and I don't know how to use it on the amiga side..  I
  49. have a dkb fastlane SCSI II controller, and an Amiga 4000.
